SplinQ launches new discount site in the Netherlands
Today marked the official launch of the site www.splinq.nl. SplinQ is an independent community site for consumer products. Buyers receive a refund of a certain portion of the sum spent on purchases through SplinQ. Spend money and earn money at the same time. The kick-off took place in Amsterdam by pointing out to consumers that they are literally leaving money lying behind. SplinQ shows them a more intelligent, smarter way to buy. It also shows consumers how to receive the money to which they are entitled.
Cheaper online shopping
SplinQ makes online shopping cheaper. A portion of the sum paid for the product purchased through SplinQ is transferred to the consumer's bank account; alternatively, consumers can choose to donate this portion to a charity of their choice. SplinQ does not sell any products itself. The site refers visitors to existing online retailers. There are already 413 stores and services where consumers can use the SplinQ facility. This number is planned to increase to 2000 within six months. SplinQ goes considerably further than existing Dutch comparison sites such as Kieskeurig, Beslist.nl, Vergelijk.nl and Kelkoo. The financial benefit is actually paid to the buyer in money.Refreshing and with respect for consumers
Millions of people in Holland now save electronically while they shop. The freebees, airmiles, rocks, clix and other savings units that they have saved can be relinquished in return for a gift. Consumers are actually paying for these savings programmes and gifts themselves. According to SplinQ, it is only logical to make this money available to consumers themselves. Whereas most parties reward customers with savings programmes, SplinQ rewards buyers with a monetary payment. In that respect, the SplinQ service acts as a refreshing search engine with respect for consumers.
